DRESSCODES is a series of five enormous Paper-Jackets. The suit as an everyday uniform is enlarged to monumental size in order to challenge the construction material: paper. The five suits are identically produced, but differ in their printed pattern, which is the textual image the imagined owner of the garment longs to communicate. The will to perform a message juxtaposed with the bigness and the fragility of the paper suggests associations of power and weakness, pretention and truth.
